Colleen opted to do the Poultry project for 4-H this year
but wanted a very specific breed: Silver-Laced Wyandottes. She really wanted
Polish Crested chickens, but found out that the care of the crest could be a
bit demanding so she changed her mind.
Because shipping only 3 chicks is outrageously expensive
($42), we ordered 25 to save on shipping. We’ll sell off the extras in order to
cover costs. For now, though, I get to enjoy the beautiful music of these
precious peeps. I really do like that sound.
Ohhh to bad that I am sooo far away. ((sigh))
